Donald Dea is a veteran business executive, board chair, entrepreneur, and governance strategist with more than four decades of leadership experience across corporate, nonprofit, education, and innovation sectors.

He currently serves in multiple board leadership roles, including Chair of America’s VetDogs and Guide Dog Foundation, where he has helped guide long-term strategic growth, governance modernization, and national visibility initiatives. He also serves as Board President and Vice Chair across several mission-driven and innovation-focused organizations spanning education, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and emerging technology.

Earlier in his career, Don held senior leadership positions at Xerox Corporation, where he managed large-scale real estate, operational, acquisition, and capital investment portfolios. He later founded Fusion Productions, building it into a nationally recognized business and creating digitalNow, a long-running executive leadership conference focused on innovation, governance, and digital transformation.

Throughout his career, Don has advised CEOs, boards, startups, universities, and nonprofit organizations on strategy, organizational growth, governance, leadership development, partnerships, and innovation. His work increasingly focuses on connecting experienced executive leadership with emerging founders, students, and mission-driven organizations through mentoring, advisory, and Executive in Residence initiatives.

Don is an ASAE Fellow and recipient of ASAE’s Key Award for distinguished service and leadership within the association industry. He is known for bringing a practical governance perspective, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership style to organizations navigating growth and transformation.
